Semiramis Art
- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "Perky Peach" by Wong.
In Su-En Wong’s paintings the female body is often shown in stark contrast to the frequently stifling monotony of the background. The artist draws viewers to her portraits and alludes to the stock presentation of Asian girls in the media.
- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "New Vienna" by Tunick.
Spencer Tunick sets up performances with dozens, hundreds or thousands of nude volunteers and the end result is photographs that record these events. The tension of his work lays not so much in the interrelationships of the participants as in the isolation of each figure in contrast with the architectural-urban landscapes he uses.

- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "YES" by Noble & Webster.
Tim Noble and Sue Webster’s work explores the toxic influences of consumer culture, the mechanics of the media and advertising industries and the notion of the young British artist as celebrity. Noble and Webster employ a wide variety of visual styles, combining and confusing the spectacular and the mundane. The affirmative “YE$” sign (2001) presents the familiar dollar symbol in a bright display of shimmering lights flickering on and off before the viewer.
- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "VBGDW" by Beercroft.
Vanessa Beecroft is known for her tableaux vivants : the majority of her performances tend to feature strikingly presented models wearing the same clothes and accessories by top fashion designer. “VBGDW” (2000) is a photo of Vanessa Beecroft’s wedding party in Portofino in September 2000. The title refers to the couple’s initials.
- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "Shutup" by Bevilacqua.
Michael Bevilacqua combines an enthusiasm for pop culture with a sophisticated study of modern painting. His work is a lexicon of contemporary icons and logos, embracing among other things, music, fashion, and art. The paintings are a visual diary of his artistic influences, recording such things as rock album covers, fashion house logos, children’s cartoon characters and images from celebrated contemporary paintings.
- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "White Nancy" by Woods.
Lives and works in London Clare Wood’s abstract paintings recreate nature as a menacing, dark and inhumane space. Her images are transcribed from photographs, taken by the artist after dark, in areas of deep woodland.
- Semiramis Hotels Artwork "Untitled" by Wool.
Inspired by street graffiti and the act of painting itself Christopher Wool constantly tries to reduce the painterly qualities in his work. Linear elements like slick black lines of enamel paint that twist and spiral across the canvas are balanced by smears of thinned paint spread in wide fluid gestures across most of the canvas.
