Available to book now, the two-night break includes a private lesson with NewSchool.Athens Photography.
Under the supervision of experts, guests can discover how to use their camera to create professional level images. After exploring Athens’ hidden gems such as the Monastiraki flea market or the Plaka neighbourhood, guests get the opportunity to create and print their holiday photo album before leaving, allowing them to capture and enjoy Athens’ culture long after returning home.
Designed by the Campana Brothers in partnership with students from the University of Thessaly, New Hotel features art through out the hotel including pieces by the likes of photographers Cattelan Maurizio and Pierpaolo Ferrari.
The package is valid from June – September 2013 and includes two nights accommodation for two people in a superior room with a daily buffet breakfast and one half-day private lesson with NewSchool.Athens Photography for €530. Participants are to bring their own cameras, preferably a digital camera DSLR or compact, that can be set to manual mode.

Rendering homage to Constantine Manos, prominent artist of the Greek Diaspora, the Benaki Museum presents an exhibition – tribute to his renowned photographic series A Greek Portfolio. The images show remote villages and islands of Greece in the nineteen sixties, where, in a landscape of simple farm life and tranquillity, poor yet proud people struggle to survive with dignity, dedicated to a way of life that hadn’t changed for centuries.
The package includes two tickets to the exhibition and additional benefits such as a 10% discount at THE SHOP of the Museum and a 20% discount for guided tours. Room rates start at 185.- Euros per night with a two night minimum stay.
